THE MAKING OF ME - A POSITIVE SUCCESS
What a power-packed day attendees shared at our 13th successive Making of Me day last Thursday, a day full of new ideas and practical strategies aimed at helping attendees build business and brands and deal with the tough times including the myriad changes most of us are experiencing right now.

From the temporal, we were transported in the afternoon by the life and remarkable times of activist, author and academic Sister Veronica Brady, justice campaigner, admonisher of popes and politicians alike, and considered by many as one of Australia’s true living treasures. As she free-wheeled through her splendid and she says fortunate life, Sister Veronica certainly also provoked much thought and reflection including sharing her own life’s leitmotif  - that of going with the flow.

Like to know more about this fascinating woman? Pick up a copy of Sister Veronica’s recently published authorised biography Larrikin Angel by Kath Jordan by going to  www.roundhousepress.com

MORE TO KNOW AND SHARE
In coming week’s we will share some of our speakers’ valuable insights and top business tips from The Making of Me days. Here are three tips for selling success from Action COACH’s Terri Billington:

1. Connect – Find common ground, ask  questions, offer genuine compliments
2. Excite – create desire, use emotion over logic, promote benefits over features
3. Invite – feed their hunger, provide choices, and leave them delighted

Details of the next The Making of Me will shortly launch– put Thursday 28 May in your diary for a half day workshop on getting results at work, focusing on building resilience, beating recession stress, and getting top team performance in challenging times.

The LunchBox List Team
