THE MAKING OF ME
“Fantastic, inspiring, informative, motivating, enjoyable, great in these times, very useful and productive, invaluable, diverse, insightful, great place to learn from others experiences, great networking and learning experience, energising, fresh.”

The positive feedback goes on and on from our 28 May The Making of Me day which focussed on thinking smarter and getting real results. We thought you might be interested in some top tips from one of our presenters, Julie Warburton, principal of Group Drive and her ‘Strategies for building a Resilient Mindset’ – something we should all be striving for this year especially:

1. Take responsibility for your thoughts and emotions - you can choose to think in a positive way or a negative way
2. Change your language - the easiest method of changing the way we think is by changing our language
3. Get mentally tough - to become resilient to pressure and toughen up mentally, you must deliberately push past your comfort zones and take action.
4. Have a purpose - having a sense of purpose or something to look forward to in life creates a driving force that keeps you moving forward
5. Have a positive possibility - every day create a positive possibility in your thinking, that gives you the determination and momentum to move forward in a positive direction
6. Set goals and take action
7. And remember - your state of mind - not the actual events - creates your experience of life….

The next The Making of Me day is on Thursday 20 August with a morning workshop focussed on building great communication skills plus a networking lunch. Agenda will be available in July - in the mean time - something for your diary!

Regards
The LunchBox List Team
