WALK FOR CHARITY Walk or run the Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday 10 May at Lake Monger with family and friends to help raise money for breast cancer research. Organised by Women In Super, this is one of Australia’s largest charity events. Last year it attracted more than 67,000 participants nationwide raising $1.2 million for its beneficiary, the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Breast Cancer is one of the major causes of cancer deaths for Australian women, with one in nine women being diagnosed with breast cancer by age 85.
