WHAT ABOUT MEN
Women aren’t the only ones benefitting from our events. We enjoy the company of men at many LunchBox List events - mostly mentors, partners and special men in the lives of our presenters. Invariably men report how much they enjoy and learn from hearing about the journeys and experiences shared by our female speakers. This includes insights into differing leadership and organisational styles and simply doing business from a female perspective. Given WA’s paucity of female chiefs, The CEOs truly is a rare opportunity for women and men alike! Know a man you think would benefit from hearing these three remarkable West Australian leaders - a mentor, boss or colleague perhaps. To encourage men’s attendance at this particular event we’d like to offer a second half-price ticket additional to your own LunchBox List ticket purchase - $132 for a Mentor Special double ticket at The CEOs. FASCINATING SCIENCE
Australia prides itself on being a knowledge nation. However mobilising Australians, particularly young Australians, to engage with the Sciences has challenged and frustrated some of our best brains. National Science Week showcases science, scientists, their achievements and contribution to the community with the aim of generating community interest. On again from August 15 – 23, it offers hundreds of events across Australia. In WA, National Science Week is supporting women in science, technology and innovation sectors to come together at this month’s The Making of Me. It’s also bringing international scientists like NASA astronaut, Katherine Megan-McArthur, to Perth. For details of this and other inspirational events visit www.scienceweek.gov.au.
